Lettuce dazzle you this Techweek at our next Speaker Series event, Food and the Internet.

Even we can admit food is more important than the Internet!

The Internet has changed the way we access food - think online supermarket shopping, food bloggers (when was the last time you used a cook book?), nutrition info at your fingertips and what your friend had for dinner last night plastered over social media.

What is considered food? Your genetically modified chicken? Your meat made in a lab? 3D printed meals? (Yes, this is a thing!)

Come along to an eat and greet with us, and yes, there will be food.

Emma Foley, who launched UberEATS here in NZ, will discuss the impact that the Internet is having on the food market, and opportunities for entrepreneurs

Collier Isaacs, Farm IQ will talk about what is happening overseas with farm to plate tech and what the main opportunities for NZ are

Well known NZ Chef, Martin Bosley, will be chairing the event.

If you can't make it in person, you can watch on our live-stream (link to be posted on our website at https://internetnz.nz/event/food-and-internet)

Now that’s some food for thought.
