'Digitally Empowering People' is the Official Launch event for the Western Bay District Council and Tauranga City Council 'Digital Enablement Project' (DEP).
The Minister for Economic Development will attend and speak on the importance of digital technology to a productive New Zealand economy and our ambition to become a leading digital nation. Special guest, Mr Ross Young , Public Policy, Google New Zealand will MC.
You will have the opportunity to hear from inspirational local business owners doing well using tech, about the DEP project, how you can benefit and show your support for this to work to help our community - young people, small businesses and startup founders - to thrive.
Instigated and supported by Tauranga City and Western Bay District Councils, the DEP will deliver upskilling opportunities to the region.
