The Beehive Code Club event will bring in 30 Code Club students and teachers from local Wellington Primary Schools to show our senior government leaders their coding superpowers. However, learning to code is not just child's play, guests will have the opportunity to pair program with a student and create their first "Hello, World!" program. There will be multiple pods running several aspects of Digital Technologies from CS Unplugged, Scratch, HTML/CSS and Python.

Digital Technologies will be a part of the New Zealand Primary School Curriculum beginning 2018. This is an exciting opportunity for New Zealand to begin to reach its digital potential. This event is designed to show our senior leaders what children are now going to be learning in everyday classroom activities and the exciting career opportunities this opens for them.
