The NZ Hi-Tech Awards celebrate New Zealand's most successful hi-tech companies and highest achieving individuals. They have evolved into a platform for recognising the best all of our technology industries: ICT, electronics, software, agritech, biotechnology, creative, telecommunications and digital media. The year-long Awards calendar comprises of seven events that showcase that are run throughout the major centres and provide networking opportunities for New Zealand technology companies. We hope to put talented Kiwis well and truly in the spotlight, promote our high-tech successes, and extend our profile beyond the technology sector. The programme culminates with Gala Dinner which will be held at the ANZ Viaduct Events Centre on the 12th of May 2017. There are 13 categories in the Awards covering all aspects of the hi-tech sector. At the Gala dinner we will also announce the 2017 Flying Kiwi who will be inducted into the Hi-Tech Hall of Fame. The Awards are overseen by the Hi-Tech Trust which is a not-for-profit. Swaytech is contracted to the Hi-Tech Trust to run the Awards programme.
