Hardware Meetup AKL: Aerospace will showcase some of New Zealand's most exciting up-and-coming and well-known aerospace companies and their products, while in the process bringing together leading Kiwi hardware entrepreneurs, engineers and product designers. This relaxed event, happening in Auckland's Wynyard Quarter Innovation Precinct, will provide many opportunities for conversations, shared resources and meaningful collaboration.

Speakers

Emeline Paat-Dahlstrom is co-founder of International Space Consultants, and space faculty and former Chief Impact Officer of Singularity University. She will showcase her satellite projects and her work building a space ecosystem in New Zealand.
Ian Rowe is a true legend in the world-renowned Air New Zealand Technical Services Operations department, and is Senior Technical Support Engineer. He'll share stories from his 49 years of fun as an Air New Zealand engineering pioneer.

Mat Rowe is CEO and Co-founder of Dotterel Technologies, a company who have developed award-winning noise-reducing drone technology. Dotterel won Most Innovative Product at last year's NAB Show (the largest showcase of media technology in the world).
Naomi Altman is Electrical Systems Engineer at Rocket Lab, a company developing lightweight, cost-effective commercial rocket launch services. Rocket Lab will be delivering payloads with their NZ-built, carbon-composite rocket ‘Electron' for the likes of NASA, Planet, Spire, and Moon Express.
