Come along to hear outstanding women give quick insightful talks about their challenges, inspiration and motivations around solving real world problems using technology. This inspiring group include a wide range of experience from award winning high school and university students to working professionals, demonstrating that inspiration can happen at any age!
It’s no secret that, for many years now, men have been the dominant voices in the technology sector. She# is here to change that. We aim to encourage women in computer science, computer engineering, IT, and tech-related fields to develop academically and professionally. In addition, we help you to network and learn with each other; fostering the advancement of women in high school, university and industry.Make sure you also register for another great event straight after this one in the same venue. Every design challenge is a chance to learn and collaborate to do something new. Currently, Amelia is combining her knowledge (and love) of intelligence analysis and analytics to the design of customer and user experiences to create smart, measured interactions.#numbercrunch'n4design #lovesthedata
Following graduation in 2016 from the University Auckland (BA/BCOM) Hayley worked part time at KPMG whilst working on a start-up,Clove.Previously, she founded a student organisation called Social Innovation New Zealand. She splits her time between Clove and working in Product Marketing at Microsoft.
Helen is a front end engineer /creative who works remotely for US healthcare startup Hospital IQ. She co-founded the Mental Health in Tech meetup, through which she hopes to help remove the stigma of speaking up about mental illness.
Mikayla is a year 12 student at Western Springs College.She enjoys studying STEM subjects at school, building robots and making science projects.She is a volunteer for OMG tech and a youth representative on their board.Last year she won the the female Supreme winner of the ASB Bright Sparks Awards.
